Lessons from the Mountain: Christ-followers Live Out God's Commands

Jesus did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets, but to fulfill them. Through God's Word, we find His commands, principles, and promises—all given to help us know Him and live according to His purpose.

God's commands reveal a pattern for righteous living, expose our sin, and ultimately show us our need for a Savior. His Word is our foundation to thrive and our weapon to stand firm, just as Jesus declared, "It is written," when facing temptation.

As Christ-followers, we are called to do more than simply hear God's Word. We are called to live it out—embracing His promises, applying His principles, and obeying His commands as we become more like Christ.
