A Sign of His Coming
When the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His return and the end of the age (Matthew 24:3–14), He gave them a sobering but hope-filled picture. From deception and global conflict, to natural disasters and persecution, Jesus warned that these would mark “the beginning of sorrows.” Yet He also gave us strong encouragement: “See that you are not troubled.”
In this message, we will explore:
The Signs of the Times — deception, conflict, disaster, persecution, and falling away.
The Warnings of Jesus — not to be deceived about sin, relationships, the effects of sin, or God’s wrath.
The Call to Action — to remain steady in peace, endure to the end, and proclaim the gospel to the nations.
Like the sons of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do (1 Chron. 12:32), we too are called to discern the moment we live in and remain faithful. This is not a message to stir fear, but one to anchor us in truth, strengthen us in perseverance, and ignite us to spread the Good News until He comes.
