Christ-followers Pursue the Lord

In Matthew 7:7–12, Jesus calls His followers to a life of persistent pursuit—asking, seeking, and knocking with confidence in the goodness of our Heavenly Father.

Christ-followers pursue the Lord passionately, bringing their needs before Him in prayer and seeking Him with their whole heart. They pursue Him confidently, walking by faith and trusting that God is good, faithful, and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. And they pursue Him purposefully, allowing what they have freely received from God to shape how they love, serve, and give to others.

Faith is more than what we believe—it impacts our testimony, our understanding, our worship, our ability to please God, and our labor for His Kingdom. As we ask, seek, and knock, we don't simply pursue what God can give us; we pursue Him.
